Jake Yang is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for the Sustainable1. In this capacity, he leads the group's technology initiatives, ensuring that solutions and practices are seamlessly integrated into sustainability strategies with a focus on cross division collaboration. Previously, Jake led the Technology Core organization for Market Intelligence, where he supported divisional DevSecOps practices, cloud engineering, and development enablement. His team focused on maintaining the stability, reliability, and security of Market Intelligence's products and platforms while promoting standardization of automation, shared services support, common tooling, and transparency.
Prior to joining S&P Global in 2020, Jake held various roles at NASDAQ, including his most recent position as Head of Cloud Platform Engineering, where he played a key role in shaping cloud strategy, security measures, and development platforms. His career also includes diverse engineering and architecture roles at financial institutions like the New York Stock Exchange and Societe Generale.
Jake hold a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the State University of New York and a master's in Technology Management from New York University.
